This Privacy Policy explains how ToolClover ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit toolclover.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Information you enter into our calculators

Our calculators run entirely in your web browser. Numbers you type into a tool (amounts, tax rates and similar values) are processed on your device and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, pages requested and the date and time of the request. We use this for security, troubleshooting and understanding overall traffic. Logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our third-party partners may use cookies, web beacons, local storage and similar technologies to operate the Site, measure usage and show advertising, as described below.

Google AdSense (advertising)

  • We use or may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Google Analytics 4 (usage statistics)

We use or may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are popular and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not use it to identify you personally. Microsoft Clarity (site improvement)

We use or may use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors interact with the Site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay, so we can improve usability. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies won't stop our calculators from working, but some ads may be less relevant. Where required by law (for example for visitors from the EEA, UK or Switzerland), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

4. How we use information

We use the limited information described above to operate, secure and improve the Site, understand aggregate usage, and show advertising that funds the Site. We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. This includes residents of California under the CCPA/CPRA, residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws, and people covered by the GDPR. 6. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.

8. Links to other sites

The Site links to government agencies and other external websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
